BESPAT (Best European Policies, Analysis and Transference in PHS) is a project funded under the PROGRESS programme of the European Union aiming at identifying and exchanging good practices all over Europe regarding the policies and actions implemented in the sector of Personal and household services at all levels. The present workshop will mark the end of this project and will be the occasion to present its outcomes and results.

At the heart of European policies for twenty years, personal care and household services (PHS) are an important source of employment while helping meeting the growing socio-health needs. They cover a broad range of activities that contribute to well-being at home of families and individuals: child care, long term care for the elderly and for persons with disabilities, cleaning, remedial classes, home repairs, gardening, ICT support, etc

Project partners will present the main results of their cooperation: a toolkit as well as policy recommendations will be showcased; a round table on 'employment in the PHS sector' will take place in the second half of the event, with various experts in the field, including Denis Stokkink, President of the think & do tank POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ - PLSSanjin Plakalo, coordinator of the European project For Quality! at PLS, will also present the connections between both projects. Best practices addressing the issue of productivity in the PHS sector will also be presented.

Due to the limited number of places and for security reasons, it is required to register to the event by sending an email to info@diesis.coop with your details (Name, Surname and Organisation).
