The European project IMPact* will hold its final conference on 13 April 2016 in Brussels. It will address the issues met by public authorities in Europe to improve assessment and monitoring of employment and budgetary effects of States’ support to the formal provision of Personal and Household Services (PHS) and offer tools to address them.
The IMPact project is a European project funded by the PROGRESS Programme. It aims at helping public authorities improving assessment and monitoring of employment and budgetary effects of States’ support to the formal provision of PHS. Over the longer term, the project seeks to help public authorities to choose and implement public policies ensuring an adequate and affordable access to PHS.
A practical tool to promote PHS
Launched in October 2014, the project will end with this conference, presenting the document “PHS policies - Implementation and Monitoring Guide”. The Guide provides theoretical insights, policy descriptions and analytical tools for the implementation of PHS measures. The information is presented through general questions:
- In what framework do PHS take place?
- What are the possible objectives of PHS policy?
- What different types of PHS policy measures are there?
- How can PHS policies be monitored?
These questions tackle issues and challenges faced by a public authority or any other stakeholder looking to gain a deeper understanding of the whys and wherefores of any PHS-supporting policy.
During the conference, project partners will illustrate the different aspects of the Guide and, through constant interlocution with participants, how it can help public authorities in solving problems they encounter when designing, implementing and monitoring PHS policies.
Attendance is FREE (lunch included)
Simultaneous interpretation will be available in Czech, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
